Install
Up and running in about fifteen minutes.
You do not need to be a developer. If you can open a terminal, edit a text file and run one command, you can install PathLMS.
Before you begin
- A machine with Docker and Docker Compose. Two CPU cores and 4 GB of memory is a comfortable start, on Intel or ARM.
- The web address people will type to reach it. You can start with the machine's own address and change it later.
- A contact email address, and a strong password for the first administrator.
Five steps
Get the files.
Download the files attached to the latest release into an empty folder on your server.Make your settings file.
Rename pathlms.env to .env, then run the one command in INSTALL.md that creates every password and secret key.Fill in three things.
Your web address, your email and your first administrator password.Start it.
docker compose up -dThe first start takes a minute or two.
Sign in.
Open your address in a browser, sign in, and read After it starts.
